JFKFO Hosts Retirement Seminar ------------------------------ The JFK pilot domicile joined with ALPA representatives to offer its pilots nearing retirement a one-day seminar to help prepare for the major life event. Nearly 60 JFK pilots gathered Sept. 23 at a New York hotel to hear several speakers explain the many options available at retirement and the steps to take to ensure the event's success. Speakers from both United and ALPA also addressed and answered questions about the A-Plan distribution options, the retiree medical options, the ESOPs 1, 2 and 3 distribution alternatives and estate planning.
